Receiving

To launch the event select the event from the Events drop-down menu.

Add equipment to the event by clicking the binoculars icon, this will open the drop-down feature. Select the method you want to use to add equipment to the screen. Some events can accept only a single piece of equipment or multiple.

Once you have chosen the equipment and populated the required fields click "Next".

Attach any Receiving documents such as customer packing slips or purchase orders.

Click "Finish."

If desired the event can then prompt for The Confirm Events dialog box will open, click the 'Auto-Assign Employees to Work Order Items.' IndySoft will search the system to find the best match based on the current employee work-load. Once selected, the name of the employee will appear in the grid. Click the 'OK' button.

A new work order will be assigned to this Receiving Event and can then be retrieved from the Order System. |
