Commercial Lab Management

The default workflow is included in the starter database for Single-User databases, so no choice is necessary. For Multi-User systems, after the database has been created and the first user logs in, there will be a prompt to import a default configuration. Typically one or more default workflows are included with the client install, located in the \Default Configuration sub-directory underneath the IndySoft program directory. The import of a default configuration will include a slate of events and tracking statuses that are appropriate for a product version.

Arrow_r Important: Keep in mind that this initial workflow is just a starting point - the number of events and tracking statuses and all related functionality can be easily customized using the tools within IndySoft. Contact IndySoft Sales for training options related to making the most of the Workflow Configuration system.
