Associations Sections (Header and Detail)

Associations can be made for Estimates, Work Orders, and Invoices. Associations can be made in the header and Scheduled Work level - for Employees, Employee Groups, Default Masters, and Parts. Header-level associations apply to the entire estimate/work order/invoice, and detail-level associations apply only to the currently selected Scheduled Work item. The Scheduled Work associations are typically automatically populated when a specific asset is associated with the Scheduled Work item. These associations can be automatically updated/replaced when the actual event is completed - based on the parts/masters/employees used. These automatic associations on the 'Scheduled Work' level are controlled by options in the System-Wide Options...General Tab:

Order System Associations - System-Wide Preferences

Associations can be combined into the header-level grids so that Scheduled Work associations are included along with the header associations. To combine, press the 'Show Detail Items (Applies to All Tab)' button above all header association grids.

Hint: Associations on the header and 'Scheduled Work' level can filter calendar items in the Work Scheduling Module. |
