Calibration Management

The default workflow is included in the starter database for Single-User databases, so no choice is necessary. For Multi-User systems, after the database has been created and the first user logs in, there will be a prompt to import a default configuration. Typically one or more default workflows are included with the client install, located in the \Default Configuration sub-directory underneath the IndySoft program directory. The import of a default configuration will include a slate of events and tracking statuses that are appropriate for a product version.

Arrow_r Important: Remember that this initial workflow is just a starting point - the number of events and tracking statuses and all related functionality can be easily customized using the tools within IndySoft. Events - Calibration Management
·CAL. IN - only allowed for equipment in 'Out for Cal.' status, changes tracking status back to 'Checked In.'

·CAL. IN - MULTI - just like CAL. IN, but allows for the selection of multiple assets in the same event.

·CAL. OUT - only allowed for equipment in 'Checked In' status, changes tracking status to 'Out for Cal.'

·CAL. OUT - MULTI - just like CAL. OUT, but allows for selecting multiple assets in the same event.

·CALIBRATION - calibrate a single asset, add related masters, and collect test point data.

·CALIBRATION - MULTI - like CALIBRATION event, but allows for selecting multiple assets in the same event.

·CHECK-IN - only allowed for equipment in 'Checked Out' status; changes tracking status to 'Checked In.'

·CHECK-IN - MULTI - like CHECK-IN, but allows for selecting multiple assets in the same event.

·CHECK-OUT - only allowed for equipment in 'Checked In' status; changes tracking status to 'Checked Out.'

·CHECK-OUT - MULTI - like CHECK-OUT - MULTI status, but allows for selecting multiple assets in the same event.

·GLOBAL EQUIPMENT CHANGE - allows for one or more assets to be modified. Equipment fields can be modified in addition to detailed information like schedules, test points, documents, etc. An equipment selection filter can be used instead of listing exact assets.

·MISCELLANEOUS - a catch-all event for logging additional information about an asset.

·REPAIR - perform a repair on one or more assets.

·REPAIR-IN - only allowed for equipment in 'Out for Repair' tracking status; changes tracking status to 'Checked In.'

·REPAIR-IN - MULTI - like REPAIR-IN event, but allows for selecting multiple assets in the same event.

·REPAIR-OUT - only allowed for equipment in 'Checked In' status; changes tracking status to 'Out for Repair.'

·REPAIR-OUT - MULTI - like REPAIR-OUT event, but allows for selecting multiple assets in the same event.
