User Defined Items are used to specify any items that can be associated with a gage or group of gages.
Add/Edit User Defined 1-5
To add to or manage the User Defined 1-5 list, in the IndySoft header, click Add/Edit and select Equipment Info... Additional Info. Lists... Custom # from the drop-down menu. Note: 'Custom 6' is also known as 'User Defined 6'.

Be sure you're adding items to the right Company. Click 'New Item' to add a new item or
to 'View/Edit Item.'

Type in the new User Defined term, click 'OK,' repeat adding new items as necessary.

The User Defined 1-5 field names can be renamed per Company. To change the User Defined 1-5 field names, go to Company Preferences.Productivity Tip

The User Defined Custom 1 - 5 fields are optional and must be added to the Equipment View template through customization. While the text can be put in any field of the Equipment View, it usually is in the Additional Info. field.
