Add/Edit...Custom Tab Lists...Custom Text 1-22
Custom Tabs offer you 22 text fields that are represented with drop-down boxes. By selecting Custom Tab Lists: Custom Text #... from the menu, you can choose what text you want to be available to your users.
Customizing Lab Custom 1-22 Labels
Before adding a new Custom Text 1-22, the label names can be customized by going to Home Tab...Preferences...By Company or 'Company Prefs' on the Equipment View screen. In the window that pops up, go to the Custom Tab tab. Rename the Custom Text # to your Company-specific label names.

Add/Edit Custom Tab Lists
To add to or manage the Custom Text 1-22 list, in the IndySoft header, click Add/Edit and select Equipment Info...Custom Field Lists...Custom Text # from the drop-down menu.
Note : If you have modified the Custom Text Labels as described above, then instead of seeing a Custom Text # in the menu, you will see the new label, such as 'Shipping Type' in this example.
Navigate to the new Custom Tab.
Be sure you are adding the Custom Text to the right Company. Click 
'New Item' to add a new Custom Text or 
to 'View/Edit Item.'

Add New Custom Text 2 (aka Cal Type)
After adding the new text, click 'OK' and repeat as necessary.
Using Custom 1-22 Lists
The Custom Text 1-22 fields refer to the 22 text-based custom fields that can be displayed through the hyperlinks below, which can be added to the 'Equipment View' tab when designing the layout in Layout Editor - Equipment Field:
