Installation of Web-Tier Tools

Installation of IndySoft Web-Tier Tools
Installing and using the IndySoft Web-Tier tools requires that you are currently running Windows and have access to the IndySoft Web-Tier Tools installation utility. There are two versions, a 64-bit version and a 32-bit version. You will either be provided an installation executable by your System Administrator or will be able to download it directly from the IndySoft Web-Tier Dashboard screen. If downloading from the Dashboard, click the link to begin the download.

When the Database Settings dialog is displayed, you can use the "Test Connection" button to confirm connectivity to your IndySoft Application Server (if 3-tier) or direct database connection (if 2-tier). This dialog is very similar to a regular IndySoft Client database settings dialog - however, note that it is entirely separate from the IndySoft Client application and will maintain its database settings.
