Adding New Equipment Using Templates

To add new equipment based on the template system, simply choose New (Use Template) from the Options menu or the Template icon

on the Equipment layout menu.

The following dialog will appear.

You can search by Default Listing, Type/Sub-Type, or Manufacturer/Model Number. Model Number is the most common and effective way of adding new equipment from templates.

Pick a search type and use it to find the template you are looking for. Once you've found the template you are looking for, highlight it in the grid below. Now you will want to assign a new gage number to the gage in step 2 at the bottom of the screen.

Last, you have the option of specifying a new Serial Number. If you want to keep the serial number that is assigned to the template, simply leave this field empty.

When you have selected the ID and Serial numbers, click the "Create" button, or if you have multiple pieces of equipment to do then click the "Create and Repeat" button |
