Legacy Export/Import Utility - Overview

When working with a calibration lab that uses IndySoft, or a customer that uses either IndySoft or EnGage!, you can exchange information between databases to make having information consistent and up-to-date between you easier. This is done using the data import and export features. This cycle is explained below:

A customer will have a gage in inventory that needs to be calibrated. The customer will perform an Export To Lab, then send the data and gage to the calibration lab. When the gage arrives, the calibration lab will perform an Import From Customer and whatever calibration work is necessary. When finished, the calibration lab will perform an Export To Customer, then send the data and gage to the customer. When the gage arrives, the customer will perform an Import From Lab.
