Auto-Clear EquipmentFinder

Checking this box will automatically clear the last EquipmentFinder list of equipment whenever you start it.

Auto-Print On-Demand P-Touch Sticker After Each Completed Calibration Event

After calibration, checking this box will automatically print the current default P-Touch Sticker template.

Use IndySoft WebTier Tools when using WebTier

When checked, this option will use WebTier Tools when the user is using the web version of the client.

Use IndySoft PDF Viewer

This option forces the use of the IndySoft PDF Viewer in place of the users default PDF viewer on their machine.

Maximum External File Size (KB)

This option specifies the maximum allowed file size of a file imported into IndySoft. This feature decreases database size by disallowing users to try and import huge files.

Product Type for this Workstation

This option will allow your login to only use certain purchased IndySoft features - limiting the number of licenses used for each product type if required. By default, all products are assumed to be used when logging in.

Tooling

Check this box to include Tooling for the current user. This edition includes inventory control for hand tools, consumables, and unique tools and is generally used by larger-scale manufacturing facilities with demanding tracking and inventory control requirements. Special operations are included to perform quick check-out and check-in events. Parts and Operations can also be tracked, which maps back to specific equipment requirements. In past versions, this product was named 'Tool InSite.'

Preventive Maintenance

Check this box on to enable PM for this user. This edition includes preventive maintenance options like service requests, schedule relationships, etc.

Next Certificate Number/Prefix/Suffix - Workstation Based

This number is used to specify a workstation-based certificate numbering system. This feature is only helpful if you use IndySoft for offsite calibration work. If so, this option will allow your calibration certificates to be workstation based instead of central database based. Example. If you have a laptop calibrating equipment offsite, you will have no way of getting a certificate number guaranteed to be unique. By using the feature to specify a unique 'Prefix' for your certificate, you can be assured that the workstation will only generate unique certificate numbers. When transferring your calibration data back to the central database, you should receive no duplicate certificate numbers when applying this method. |
