Database Settings: This controls all database connectivity

User/Location Settings: This controls many preferences like Default Companies, Event Display, Master Equip. List, Variables, Workstation Identifiers, Document Locations, Application Settings, Printer Routing, External Devices, and E-Mail Settings

Profile Manager: The Profile Manager allows you to set up users of IndySoft. This is where you will set permissions, logins, and passwords.

List Management: You have the ability to create and edit all the lists in IndySoft. By setting up lists in advance, you can allow others to perform entry work but prevent them from violating the principles behind how equipment should be entered that you have established.

Equipment Templates: Certain types of equipment are very common. By creating templates you can quickly create enter new pieces of Equipment without having to set up all of the fields by hand.

Event Configuration: Events are the heart of what IndySoft is used for. This is where you can create and customize events to get the exact effect you want.

Order System: Work Orders, Estimates, Invoices, etc, are how you communicate with customers or record services between departments of a large company. This is where you set them up.

Studies: Analyzing the history of a piece of equipment can assist in determining when an item is wearing out, or if something else unusual is going on. There are a variety of Studies that can be performed to analyze what has been happening to a piece of equipment.

Alarm System: Keeping track of what needs to be done can be tedious when there are a large number of things going on. Alarms can be configured to notify the appropriate users when something needs to happen that might otherwise be missed.

PrintBuilder: Configuring and displaying Reports is a major activity for record-keeping. This is where Reports are designed.

Preferences: Determining how Users, Companies, and the System work by default is very important to getting a look and feel that works for your company. |
