Language Settings Utility

An IndySoft administrator and translator use the Language Settings utility to set up various languages for the IndySoft user interface. This utility can translate all IndySoft onscreen text (with limited exceptions). As you might imagine, this involves thousands of potential phrases and labels available for translation.

Also, this same utility allows for logging all text objects within custom configurations in IndySoft (like layouts, reports, flowcharts, custom field labels, etc.). These text items are stored in a new 'Language Dictionary' database table and available for translation, just like the user interface.

Functionality is divided into two main tabs:

·Main Interface & Languages

·Custom Config. & Language Dictionary

Finally, the actual work of translation is done in the Language Manager screen. |
