Select Export/Import Type (Start Screen)

When the Export/Import Utility is started, the user is presented with this start screen:

Users must select one of the available options for export or import, then press 'Next' to proceed. Note that only one option (an export option or an import option) can be selected at a time. Certain options can be hidden based on security options in Profile Manager. See the 'Export/Import Module' security category:

·If the 'Allow Exporting' security option is OFF, then all Export options are hidden

·If the 'Allow Importing' security option is OFF, then all Import options are hidden

·The item for 'Create Single-User Auto Configuration Update is only shown on Single-User systems. It can also be hidden in Single-User systems from Profile Manager through the 'Allow Creation of Single-User Auto Configuration Update (if applicable)' security option.

·If the 'Allow Access to Export/Import Module' security option is OFF, then users will not be allowed entry into the Export/Import Module

The Export/Import Module can be launched in several ways:

- from the Dashboard view, a hyperlink for EXPORTIMPORTMODULE can be used

- users can launch the ExportImport.exe directory; login will be required |
