Add/Edit...Equipment Info...Types
'Types' of equipment you add to your database can be added in two ways. The first way is while you are populating the information while adding new equipment to a company in Equipment View. The second way is from a master list in Equipment Info. of 'Types' you have added previously.
Adding Types in Equipment View
When adding new equipment to a company using Equipment View, a list of 'Types' can be accessed using a drop-down menu in the 'Edit Equipment Type' field.

In Equipment Fields, clicking the will open the Edit Equipment Field dialog. You can type a new 'Type,' start typing one that is already populated and the text will display, or select a 'Type' from the drop-down list. Click the
to accept or the
to cancel. Clicking
will move you forward or back in the Equipment View fields. You can also edit/delete the text in this field.
Note: Remember the drop-down list will only be populated if you have entered the 'Type' previously in the field or from the master list, which is explained next.
Add/Edit Type List
To add to or manage the Types list, in the IndySoft header, click this Add/Edit Lists icon
on the left side and select Equipment Info...Types from the drop-down menu.
Add/Edit 'Type'
Be sure you're adding 'Type' into the right 'Company.' Click
'New Item' to add a new 'Type' or
to 'View/Edit Item.' (Sort by clicking the header above the column).
