Specification Manager
The Specification Manager (SpecManager) was introduced in various iterations beginning with version 13. Its main purpose is to work in conjunction with the equipment Specifications tab, to store and manage manufacturers type specifications. In other words, those specifications you would find in a manufacturer supplied manual or datasheet. The specifications maintained in SpecManager are intended to be those that are specific to a particular Manufacturer/Model Number combination, installed option or class based condition (i.e. ASTM E617 weight classes).
The SpecManager is a separate executable that can be launched via a hyperlink placed in the left hand panel of your Main layout or via the SpecManager icon in the IndySoft Admin Panel layout. If the icon or hyperlink is not visible, see the section on layouts to add it.
