Table...Insert Operations

Insert Table

Use this drop-down menu to create a table at the current caret position quickly - click and drag the mouse to the desired size (height/width).



Note that you can continue dragging beyond the height/width of the initial 4x5 grid to create a table of an even larger size. This operation is equivalent to the button on the Editing tab...Object...Insert Table.

Insert Row Below

Use this option to insert a row below the currently selected column quickly. This will only work if the caret is placed inside a table cell (or one/more table cells are fully selected).

Insert Row Above

Use this option to insert a row above the currently selected column quickly. This will only work if the caret is placed inside a table cell (or one/more table cells are fully selected).

Insert Column Left

Use this option to quickly insert a column to the left of the selected column. This will only work if the caret is placed inside a table cell (or one/more table cells are fully selected).

Insert Column Right

Use this option to quickly insert a column to the right of the selected column. This will only work if the caret is placed inside a table cell (or one/more table cells are fully selected). |
