What's New in 9.0

If you are upgrading from a previous version of IndySoft, there is much new in 9.0. Here are a few of the major highlights, with links to more details -

·Dashboard Main Screen New 'dashboard' main screen that allows for complete control over Home Views and Equipment Views. Show/hide any field, any search by, any event, any operation, any utility... Format any onscreen text, add your logos, reminders... Mirror the look/feel of your internal/legacy system... Significantly faster loading of equipment in new 'dashboard' interface.

·Flowcharts (Home View / Equipment View) Configurable flowcharts for Home Views and Equipment Views. Flowcharts are entirely interactive and are tied to workflow tracking statuses and event names. Click on a status and see a grid listing of all equipment that matches this status. Click on an event and quickly operate. Equipment View flowcharts automatically highlight acceptable 'next' actions in the flow. See also Flowchart Editor

·Scheduled Work Scheduled Work view is now more prominent. It gives technicians immediate access to all scheduled work order items assigned to their employee name or employee group - quickly navigate to linked work orders and assets, or perform necessary events.

·Work Scheduling Module New Work Scheduling Module for scheduling work order items in month, week, and day view calendar modes. Quickly schedule open work order items to employees or employee groups while easily balancing workload.

·Template Editor New Template Editor - moves the viewing/editing of templates outside the main screen. This allows for significant speed gains when editing templates and allows templates to be viewed/edited while equipment is also onscreen or events are being performed

·Workload Chart Utility New Workload Chart utility for viewing repetitive schedule due dates and balancing future workload.

·Export/Import Module New Export/Import Module allows for file-based export and import of ALL IndySoft data. Records can be filtered upon export and previewed before import. System Administrators can automatically delete data after export to archive/purge records that are no longer needed. Imported data can be brought in to replace existing data groups or merge into existing documents.

·Single-User Auto Configuration Updates - Summary Single-User versions can use the Export/Import module to create automatic configuration updates that can be pushed to other workstations upon login to ensure that all mobile users have consistent workflows and configuration.

·Charges Utility (Set/Import Charges) New Set/Import Charges utility for quickly controlling all pricing operations (Commercial Lab Management Only). Export current pricing per customer/template to Excel for offline editing the automatically re-import when prices are finalized. Easily view charge exceptions and template flat rates.

·Tracking Status Panel One-click editing of tracking statuses and status-level current and transit fields.

·Search By's Merge/Hyperlink Items Immediate preview of equipment through 'Equipment Views' embedded into search by grids. Search-by dialogs can be launched from Home View from hyperlinks showing how many records match the filter BEFORE the search-by is called onscreen.

·Company Filters - Profile Manager Company filters can be set up in Profile Manager, allowing users to be quickly assigned to a large group of companies through a filter rather than individual company assignments or exceptions. Lower-level System Administrators can be set up that have enough access to assign new users to these filtered groups but cannot modify other higher security functions.

·Company Layouts Company layouts for quickly previewing company information and data counts while viewing company results in the Advanced Company Search dialog.

·Defining Layout Visibility (Profiles / Users / Companies) Multiple Home Layouts and Multiple Equipment View layouts can be mapped to particular profiles, users, or companies. This allows managers and admins to quickly change their main screen interface to match that of lower-level users without having to log back in with different credentials.

·Workflow Configuration - Charges Charge Type settings are now associated with events through the Workflow Configuration Module rather than equipment-level - making default pricing much more intuitive.

·Charts in Home Tab Multiple charts can be shown on the initial Home View to remind users of critical metrics involving tracking statuses. All charts can be automatically updated after each event is performed.

·Display Template Statistics New Template Statistics Module

·Employee Time Log Utility New Employee Time Log Module for viewing time spent on events per employee.

·RCM Setup/Timer Reliability-Centered-Maintenance Module (RCM) for automatic recalculation of due dates based upon equipment assignments to active lines and current load factors.

·Creating Work Orders from Estimates Automatic creation of work orders from estimates

·Linking Work Orders to Estimates from Events Options for linking event charges to estimates to ensure that estimated charges are used in work order events. |
