Studies - Defining Study Limits - Step 2 (R&R)

Step 2
Several pieces of information should be entered during this step. Each study has two acceptance limits. Any result lower than the higher limit will pass the study. Results between the limits will be tolerated, while results below the lower limit will pass without reservation. Results above the higher limit will fail the study.

Step 2 - Defining Study Limits

Lower Limit

Results that are below the lower limit will pass the study without reservation.

Upper Limit

Results above the higher limit will fail the study.

Apply Limits To

IndySoft needs to know which calculation the limits should be applied to. Of the variables represented in these choices, only R&R and Total Variation were calculated during the study. Tolerance is entered directly by the user before the study is begun. There are two potential values for this field:

Ø% R&R of Total Var. [100(R&R/TV)]

Ø% R&R of Tolerance [100(R&R/Tol.)] |
